CHELSEA midfielder and Nigeria Super Eagles captain John Obi Mikel have completed his move to Chinese Super League side Tianjin TEDA
for China

Starsport reported yesterday claims that Mikel was having a medical with Tianjin TEDA.

He's been offered a three-year contract worth £140,000-a-week to follow his former Blues team-mate Oscar to China.

And the deal now appears to have gone through after pictures of Mikel shaking hands with a Tianjin club official were shared on Chinese social media site Weibo.

John Obi Mikel has won a host of trophies for Chelsea, including the Champions League in 2012

“John Obi Mikel is ready to quit Chelsea for China in a £140,000-a-week deal”

Mikel hasn't played for Chelsea since Antonio Conte's arrival last summer.

The Nigerian was understood to be keen on staying in Europe with his young family.

But the lure of a mega increase on his current £85,000-a-week contract has swayed the 29-year-old's mind.

Congratulations and best of luck
