Lady Gaga’s half-time Super Bowl performance has been described as one of the greatest in history and social media stats prove it.
The star lit up the stage with hits Just Dance, Poker Face and Born This Way, beating stats on Beyoncé and Cold Play’s performance last year.
According to Forbes, there were about 5.1 million tweets about Gaga's performance, and she was mentioned on Twitter 2.1 million times between 7:50 and 8:40pm.
On Facebook, 396,000 people per minute were talking about the singer.
That surpassed last year’s stats when the half-time show had 3.9 million tweets, according to data analysis from Twitter.
Viewers tweeted about Beyoncé 1.3 times, Coldplay 774,000 times and Bruno Mars 341,000 times, all in the 23 minute time period.
Social media users couldn’t get enough after her dramatic skydive onto the stage and her Born This Way performance which promoted diversity.
